Sea inolvidable. Merci.

"Instantly welcoming, the atmosphere is both chic and inviting, homely, stylish, exotic & yet somehow familiar"

Tucked at the end of a dead end, narrow street, deep in the heart of the medina, the adventure begins just getting to Sirocco D'Amour! Everything was organised for my arrival, from the driver waiting at the airport to the Manager meeting me from the the taxi to escort me to the house. All very smooth and reassuring for my first visit to Morocco. Once inside the traditional Riad, the magic continues. Instantly welcoming, the atmosphere is both chic and inviting,  homely stylish, exotic & yet somehow familiar. Whether you choose to go straight to your comfortable ensuite bedroom, up to the roof terrace to soak in the atmosphere of the Medina, or curl up by the fireplace, lounge in the open air sitting area by the intimate plunge pool, or tuck yourself away in a number of nooks and crannies - there is plenty of space to come together or take time out. We were treated to Fatima's amazing breakfasts and a couple of her delicious meals, and then got to explore the craziness of the medina on foot and with a private tuk-tuk style motor scooter. We also drove out to the High Atlas mountains for lunch and also had an enthralling night at Le Comptoir Darna, and also experienced the beauty of the Marjorelle Gardens, and luxuriated in the Hamman de la Rose.  After each adventure I returned, gratefully to the calm, tranquil, beautiful oasis that is Sirocco D'Amour. I can't wait to return.

"Comfortable lounge and dining areas, a raging open fire in winter and a fabulous private chef Fatima,  make for a very homely feeling"

Sirocco D'Amour is a true oasis set deep within the winding narrow streets of the Medina. Accessible only by donkey or on foot, a series of turns  leads to a dead end with a number on an old wooden door. On entering the hallway there is a feeling of being in a Parisian apartment until you pass into the ground floor of the road where you eyes are directed past the heated plunge pool and up to the deep blue moroccan sky above. Comfortable lounge and dining areas, a raging open fire in winter and a fabulous private chef Fatima, make for a very homely feeling. The 5 ensuite bedrooms are scattered over 2 floors which are quiet and peaceful. There is a fabulous entertaining area on the rooftop looking over the fascinating neighbouring buildings and the riding smoke of the Jemaa el-Fnaa market square in the distance. Exploring the surrounding Medina or escaping out of town for a day trip are all easily accomplished. Why would you stay at an international hotel when you can experience the true way of Moroccan life at Sirocco D'Amour? Can't wait to go back.
